Camp Arrowmoon

Camp Arrowmoon

Camp Arrowmoon is a wonderful natural area that has long been associated with the Boy Scouts. Long ago the camp was placed in a trust for use by the youth of Brazos County and today it is still widely  used by Scout units of the Sam Houston Area Council's Arrowmoon District. Several major Arrowmoon District events are held at the camp annually including Camporee, a gathering of all the Boy Scout troops in the District and Webelos Woods, where area Webelos Scouts are given a taste of the Scouting journey ahead when they join Boy Scout troops on a weekend campout. Camp Arrowmoon is also frequently enjoyed throughout the year by Arrowmoon District units who taken full advantage of this wonderful resource for weekend camping.
