Call for Trainers
The Arrowmoon District is currently looking for adult volunteers to serve as trainers on the District's Training Team. The role of the team will be to schedule and provide various trainings within the District. If you would like to become a trainer for the District, please contact Scott Hoose. All trainers must attend a Trainer's EDGE course and stay current on their training certification.
BB-Gun and Archery Shooting Sports Ranger Training (FREE)
May 8th, 8:30am - noon, SHAC Headquarters in Houston (LOCATION CHANGE!). Pre-registration was due May 1st. Contact David Kocmoud (979-324-5163 or david-kocmoud@verizon.net) for more information.
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)
The IOLS course will be offered locally at Camp Arrowmoon on May 21-22 (Fri-Sat). Cost will be $15, and meals/snacks will be provided. This course is part of the basic training for Scoutmasters and ASMs, Varsity Coaches and Assistant Coaches, and Crew Advisors and Associate Advisors (for crews with an outdoor program). Registration must be made in ADVANCE; the last day to register will be Tuesday, May 18.
