Eagle Project Planning Guide
Attention Life Scouts - If you are beginning the planning for your Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project, this guide is for you. Other web sites may give you project ideas, but this guide tells you HOW TO PLAN the project, write up the proposal, carry out the work, and prepare the final report.

There is also an associated PowerPoint presentation, which may be adapted for your unit's use. This resource is not needed by the Scout to plan and conduct the project, but may be recommended to your leaders.

NOTE: Effective August 1, 2009, the national office will no longer accept Eagle applications prior to the 2009 printing. Make sure your Eagle application contains the words "2009 Printing" at the bottom right corner of the second page. The new Eagle Scout application (512-728) can be found on scouting.org.
